CNC Mode is the state of the CMM that allows automatic movements.
The DMIS enhance two different attitudes based on the CNC Mode selected:
- MODE/PROG,MAN: The CMM is in PROGRAMMED mode, the path is determined by the commands listed in the MEAS/ENDMES block and the inspection will be performed following the PTMEAS commands.
- MODE/AUTO,PROG,MAN: The CMM is in AUTOMATIC mode, if the measuring feature has an canned cycle, then this will be performed even if the MEAS/ENDMES block contains PTMEAS commands.
The custom canned cycles (Non-Dmis standard) enhanced by ARCO, if set, are also executed in AUTO mode.
